Meet Martha
Martha Alter Hines, MSW, CMT, is a mother, spiritual teacher, channel, guide, and founder of Living the One Light. Martha has twenty years of experience as a clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and body worker. But more than any title, Martha is someone who genuinely loves people.
She left her clinical career in 2018 after a profound spiritual experience that called her into her true soul purpose: supporting souls to remember how loved they are and how profoundly connected they are to the Earth, the cosmos, the divine, and each other. Martha is devoted to supporting people in remembering who they truly are—beyond fear, conditioning, and the experience of separation. Through her channeled teachings, astrology, meditation, energy work, and connection with the Earth and the realms of light, she invites us into a deeper experience of wholeness, sovereignty, love, and belonging.
Martha’s work is rooted in a simple but profound remembering: we are not here to become someone else—we are here to fully become who we already are. She is passionate about midwifing humanity into a new relationship with ourselves, one another, the Earth, and the greater living intelligence of the cosmos. Through Living the One Light, she creates spaces for authentic connection, soul remembering, and the embodied experience of being the light we came here to be.
